Week 1
01–14–25
First week of work on this project consisted of planning, proposal presentations and a nailing down of the scope of this semester’s work. Sketching done for drawer system design as well as design of the blog website.

Spent more time identifying my chosen design to move forward with for the drawer system, finding a good mentor, setting up a branding meeting, beginning modeling and theorizing brand styles.

01–28–25
Met with my sister to discuss brand identity and outlined some important questions, set up meeting with my other mentor, got drawers and half-counters shaped out, and got some potential logo designs and color options to move forward with.

02–04–25
Had my first mentor meeting with Alex, finalized my logos and colors, as well as finished up the first pass of the models for the drawers, half-counter and full-counter.

Big pivot week with lots of rethinking after Milestone 1 as well as a meeting with some people in the product design realm that forced me to widen my horizons...

A week of further refinement and horizon broadening. Had meetings with branding mentor, design engineer from DECKED, and friend in the entrepreneureal space. Also I am ready to begin V1 prototype with a full plan and buildout shopping list made. Began designing a landing page as well.

02–25–25
A This week was spent primarily expanding on my 3D model and getting it website worthy with some mockups. This involved sourcing a truck model and building a scene.

A Had a fruitful meeting with another employee from DECKED, started a V1 prototype, thought up a new design to install and uninstall the baseplate in seconds, a new track idea for the drawer system, and prepared my investor pitch presentation.

A Been a couple weeks and in that time I presented to potential investors and mentors and landed a mentorship with 1876 ventures! Also I started a CAD design for the baseplate so I can send it to local manufactures and get quotes as well as came up with a locking mechanism for the struts between the baseplate and bed platform or shelving.

A We’re now in the business development phase and it’s now getting more real and less aesthetic (for now). Our team is expanding and with that we have more specialized experience moving us forward.
